Baby contemplates the experiences, motivations, and emotions behind the conception of fabled beings and the thematic intersections that exist within a great deal of folklore, in particular the rural and expansive landscapes that are said to house such creatures. It calls to mind the human need for belonging, prompting an attempt to fill empty spaces with echos of life, story, and meaning. The form was created with the help of a pregnancy pillow, flour, and water.
